Water in a DAFI Cools After Washing a Few Dishes — Is the 2.5 mm² Cable to Blame?
- Step-by-step diagnosis: cable, voltage, pressure, flow, and accessories that decide your temperature
Lukewarm water after a short while isn’t automatically a “broken” heater or the fault of a 2.5 mm² cable. In a DAFI instant heater, outlet temperature hinges on several pieces at once: voltage at the terminals (drops cut effective power), model power rating, pressure, and the actual flow. This guide provides a practical checklist: clean the aerator and inlet mesh, check pressure and fit a reducer if needed, use a spray tip on 3.7–4.5 kW, bleed the unit correctly, size cable and protection to nameplate currents, and set realistic L/min targets for 40–45 °C. Result: steadier, hotter water without the headaches.
